Well, this is one of those days where the meteorologist hates to say, “I told you so”. In a truly unprecedented fashion – Beryl has earned some unfortunate attributes including becoming the strongest hurricane on record for both June and July and the most rapid intensification of any Atlantic basin hurricane before Sept. 1.
We are now in the waning hours of what will be our first named storm of 2024. On that note, this year’s storm season will be a marathon, not a sprint. So, this likely will not be our first & final storm. As you prepare to return to work – please quickly assess your property to confirm damage THEN rapidly look to repair and remedy any damages.
I have numerous customers that are already booked up in anticipation of the storm’s damages, so don’t wait to address any concerns. This is one of those years, where an ounce of prevention will surely beat a pound of the cure.
If there is anything that we can do to help or if we can be a resource – please do not hesitate to contact our office. We will likely be working remotely granted power is available, but we will be doing our best to monitor any claims activity & heavily impacted areas.
